Ta Keo

A temple-mountain and King Jayavarman V’s own state shrine. Like Pre Rup, built by his father, it has five sanctuary towers arranged, built on the uppermost level of five-tier pyramid consisting of overlapping terraces surrounded by moats, as a symbolic depiction of Mount Meru, the home of the gods in Hinduism. The temple itself took shape as a pyramid of several levels, and the home of the gods was represented by the elevated sanctuary at the center of the temple.

Its has minimal carving decorations, as it was never finished. It is an example of the Khleang style and has lovely views over the forest from the top. Again its quite a climb up steep stairs for anyone who gets vertigo.
